Fairtrade Fortnight

Fairtrade in Norfolk

The 'Fairtrade Fortnight' campaigns in Norfolk to promote Fairtrade look as if they will have been a huge success.

On Saturday, Ros and I attended the Fairtrade Festival at the Forum in Norwich. We were impressed. Goods from across the world, ethically traded, were on display including food, jewellery, clothes, and crafts. Musicians, street theatre, and the Norwich Samba band were also doing their bit to promote Fairtrade in the city.

Fakenham is also playing a part. On Thursday last week, a Tradecraft stall was present at Fakenham Market. This Thursday, EDP Agriculture Editor Michael Pollit will be speaking at Fakenham Parish Church from 7.30pm.
